Venusinus's work

Most of Venusinus's poems and letters are only known through copies in Peder Hansen's book (Copenhagen, Det Kongelige Bibliotek, NKS 271,8). This young man from Sakskøbing (Lolland) was Venusinus's amanuensis from Summer 1600 till Summer 1604 and lived with the professor in his university apartment. During these three years, Hansen copied a large amount of texts into his personal book. It contains mostly texts close related to Venusinus. The undated poems were probably all written after Venusinus's arrival in the capital in 1587.
